The Singles Collection series continues. Volume 5 shifts over to Loneward, featuring eight songs — five of them unreleased.

1. Grey Looming *
Composed October 2022. This was my first attempt at “Grey Rising” for “Willoweald”, however it felt too dark and moody. The aim was to have a spark of hope, and that was missing.

2. Garden of Aeons
Composed October 2023. The bones of this track were from a rejected version of "A Collection of Lesser Moments" from the album “Pallid Memories”. It was reworked for a charity album, headed by Diana Smethurst (aka Gypsy Witch), titled Tales from the Oak. The album raised money for Future Trees

3. Unclouded Mind *
Composed November 2022. This is a previous attempt for “Pellucid” from “Willoweald”. Both this and the final version use nearly the same synth patches, however the compositions were written from scratch.

4. Silhouette *
Composed November 2022. Originally “Petal and Leaf” for “Willoweald”, but once again, it was too moody to fit the album.

5. Strength in Your Tears *
Composed March 2024. My first attempt at “Dreamloom” for “Gossamer Wings of Illusion”. It was scrapped for being too sombre. I was aiming for mysterious, not sorrowful.

6. Echoes Upon Canvas *
Composed June 2024. An earlier draft of “Echoes of the Dusking Heart” from “Musings of a Painted Sky”. This version delves into darker, more abstract territory. I liked it, but didn't fit the album properly.

7. In Visible
Composed November 2024. Produced for Imaginary North's “Transmission” compilation series. It appeared on Volume 10.

8. Noctilucent
Composed September 2020. This track originates from 2016 during the “Innerspace” writing sessions. It was originally meant to be the final track of that album, “Innerspace Outermind”, but the music couldn't sustain the planned running time of approximately 20 minutes. Ultimately, after making some adjustments, it found a perfect home on Stereoscenic's Ambient Sleeping Pill 5.
